Everywhere I turn
I imagine you there
And I smile with my whole self
Because you make me happy
I hear the smile in your voice
And I see your smile in your eyes
It calms me and warms me...
It reassures me.
My troubles cannot dominate me
When I can share them all with you
They become lighter
And somehow, more managable.
I'm not as frightened
Because you lend me your strength
I am not as overwhelmed
Because you offer me hope
There is sunshine after each storm in my life
And it is your smile.....
