soft and sexy in my ear
though now the sadness
takes its toll worrying
that they will cut
and she thinks I would be
happier in someone elses arms
How foolish for her to dream
such thoughts that dont include me

I tell her I have loved her
and will always be by her side
that I will hold her contentedly
even if the whispering is silent
because she is my lover and friend
my confidante and wild fantasy
and no doctors or HMOs
will ever cut away
