Don't misunderstand what I say
This day I'm not sure I understand
Words jumble in my head
But don't come out, instead they fall
Like raindrops in a neverending river.

My beautiful friend,
What has happened to you inside?
I looked in the mirror and saw my own
Emotions, and knew why,
Then someone dropped the mirror.

My feelings engulf my body
They coarse through my veins
And make me shake
Another person sat
Where my beautiful friend has stood.
