Walk With Me
©2000 by Norma Jean Lipert

You walked into my life and into my heart.
I knew I was in trouble right from the start.
Your first kiss, melted me like butter.
My heart did a dance as it began to flutter.

I never realized the damage it would do.
Now every moment I am thinking just of you.
Like a drug, I'm addicted, to your voice and your touch.
And when we are apart, I miss you so darn much!

You've opened up a door and let me peek inside.
At first I wanted to run, but there was nowhere to hide.
You've turned my world upside down and now I want no other.
Let me take your hand and walk with you, let me be your lover!
